If someone told us a few years ago that we’d add $833,000 in additional revenue outside of weddings, we probably wouldn’t have believed them. But here we are, sharing exactly how we did it—and how you can too.
For so many wedding photographers and filmmakers, hitting a ceiling in income is a reality. You can only raise your prices so much or book so many weddings before you start feeling capped. And that’s exactly why we knew we had to diversify our revenue streams to scale beyond what our wedding businesses could provide.
So, how did we do it? Let’s break it down step by step.

Step 1: We Stopped Relying Solely on Weddings
The wedding industry is amazing, but it has natural limitations:
- There are only so many weekends in a year.
- Your pricing will only go so high before you cap out.
- You’re at the mercy of the economy and shifting demand.
We realized that if we wanted true financial stability and long-term success, we needed to expand beyond weddings. That’s when we started focusing on three key revenue streams:
✅ Corporate & Commercial Work – We built a commercial brand alongside our wedding brand to work with corporate clients, brands, and businesses needing photo and video content. ✅ Education & Digital Products – We launched courses, mentorships, and digital products tailored for wedding creatives looking to grow their businesses.
✅ Passive Income through Digital Offers – We created digital downloads, like LUTs and templates, that generate revenue without trading time for money.

Step 2: We Built a Corporate & Commercial Brand
One of the biggest ways we grew our revenue was by adding corporate and commercial filmmaking to our business. Instead of just working with couples, we started working with businesses, brands, and agencies that needed high-quality photo and video work.
Why does this matter?
- Corporate clients have bigger budgets. Instead of charging $5K–$10K for a wedding, we started landing $20K–$50K projects.
- The work is less seasonal. Unlike weddings, which are tied to peak seasons, businesses need content year-round.
- There’s potential for repeat clients. Unlike wedding couples (who hire you once), brands come back multiple times for new projects.
💡 Pro Tip: If you’re a photographer or videographer, you already have the skills to enter the corporate world—you just need to shift your messaging, branding, and pricing.
Step 3: We Created Digital Products & Courses
Education is one of the most scalable ways to increase revenue. If you’ve been in the wedding industry for a few years, you already have valuable knowledge that others are willing to pay for.
We started by creating:
✅ The Level Up Co. Education Platform – Online courses & masterminds for wedding creatives wanting to grow their businesses.
✅ LUTs & Digital Downloads – Film presets and tools that other filmmakers and editors could use in their own work.
✅ Coaching & Mentorships – 1:1 and group coaching for photographers and videographers wanting to scale.
💡 Pro Tip: If you’re thinking, “I don’t have a big enough audience to sell digital products,” think again. We built a highly profitable education brand without needing hundreds of thousands of followers. It’s all about niching down and targeting the right people.

Step 4: We Leveraged Marketing & Branding to Scale
Once we had our revenue streams in place, the next step was scaling through branding, positioning, and marketing.
Here’s what worked for us:
✅ Clear, premium branding – Whether it was our corporate brand or digital products, we made sure every offer looked high-end and aligned with the audience we wanted to attract
. ✅ Email marketing & automation – We built email lists and automated sales funnels that generated passive income from digital products while we focused on other projects.
✅ Networking & collaborations – We built relationships with planners, vendors, and industry leaders who helped refer clients our way.
✅ Strategic social media presence – Instead of just posting pretty pictures, we positioned ourselves as experts in our space, educating and engaging with our audience.
